SECOND WIND is a unique urban resource center for transformational spirituality.  When you live in the city, and you’re caught up in what often feels like a never ending rat race, and life is blowing past you over 100 miles per hour, and noise is everywhere in unfiltered surround sound … and yet you hunger for something more, deeper, authentic, soul-stirring, life-changing, calming, peaceful, grounding, centering, reenergizing, empowering … you want to find the real you beneath all the trappings of your life, to learn the art of living you not someone else, to embrace something bigger than you, to feel the mystery of life that inspires and brings awe and wonder in the midst of your routine …

SECOND WIND is a nonprofit organization in San Francisco dedicated to exploring this kind of effective and meaningful urban spirituality in a way that excites your personal dreams, enhances your quest to belong, extends your compassion beyond yourself, and explores God and the Mystery all around you.

Retreat Format. Each retreat is Friday evening (7:30 – 9:30 pm), and Saturday (9:30 am – 5:30 pm).  That’s 10 hours of teaching, coaching, conversations, exercises, and guided reflections in the company of no more than 20 other like-minded people hungering for a more meaningful spirituality.
